These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Doen (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Doen lets you track habits with in-app photo or video proof, AI-assisted verification, streaks, and optional social features such as friends, circles, communities, and a feed. Features may change as we improve the product.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Doen. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for your account credentials and activity.
- Do not share your account or impersonate others.
- You may delete your account in the app (or by contacting support). Deletion behavior is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload or share illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, sexual, or otherwise objectionable content.
- Attempt to game verification with deceptive, stolen, or unrelated media, or to circumvent product rules.
- Harass other users, spam, scrape the Service, or interfere with servers or security.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
5. User-generated content
You retain ownership of content you create (including proof media and captions). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service as you configure it (including sharing to audiences you choose).
We may moderate, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms or our community standards, including content in comments, circles, communities, and public feeds. We are not obligated to monitor all content but reserve the right to do so.
6. AI verification
Verification results are generated with automated systems (including third-party AI). Results may be imperfect. We do not guarantee that every genuine attempt will pass or that every bad attempt will fail. You remain responsible for submitting honest proof.
7. Subscriptions and pricing
Parts of the Service may be free; optional paid features may be introduced. Fees, renewals, and refunds (if any) will be disclosed at purchase through the applicable app store or billing provider.
8. Account termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable, we will provide notice.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that AI verification will meet your expectations.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STOKE AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doen and its operators from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Dispute resolution and governing law
